NH4Cl recycling by MD concentration
During manufacturing amino acid, 7% of NH 4 Cl and 2-3% of HCl waste water is produced. This kind of waste water can not be discharged due to acid, Cl- and ammonia. After applying CSRE MD, the NH 4 Cl and HCl was concentrated to >20% and 10%, respectively, for recycling, which substantially decrease discharge cost of waste water. Project capacity is 20m3/d; feed concentration is 7%; MD brine is 20%. The reside steam from amino acid manufacturing process provides heat to MD and electricity consumption is only 3.5kWh/m3.
